Born: 31st May 1942 – Passed Away: 6th September 2025
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Mrs. Rosaline Mathuranayaki Thavapragasam, fondly known as Mathuram, a retired and much-respected teacher from Holy Family Convent – Ilavalai, who departed this life on the 6th of September 2025, at the age of 83.
Daughter of: the late Mr. Thiruchelvam and Mrs. Thirasammah of Ilavalai, Jaffna.
Daughter-in-law of: the late Mr. Ganapragasam and Mrs. Jeyarani of Mirusuvil, Jaffna.
Beloved Wife of the late Mr. Thavapragasam, (lovingly known as Thavapragasam Master, former teacher at St. Henry's College, Ilavalai).

Her gentle spirit, unwavering love, and lifelong commitment to service have touched many hearts across generations.
